ASIAN
BROCCOLI Chinese broccoli is generally grown
for the tasty sweet stalk and leaves. It generally has a narrower
stalk, bigger leaves and a smaller flowerhead than its European

Chinese
Broccoli (OP?)- The seed packet is all in Chinese, but
from the picture this is a very thick tender stemmed broccoli with
nice size leaves and yellow flowers. Looks exactly like the variety
served at Dim Sum.
Flowering Pac-Choy - Quick-bolting non-heading pac-choy for
harvest just when flower buds open. Harvest stalks, leaves and buds
6-8" from top of plant and steam like broccoli. Delicious side
dish.
Gai Lohn - Chinese broccoli. Grows easily in heat or cold. Edible
stalks, young leaves and flower buds. Eat anything above where the
stem breaks easily. Fabulous with oyster sauce. Flowers white.

Bau
Sin Asian Greens organic
seed - Mild and sweet asian mustard green
has glossy golden green leaves maturing to a beautiful folded heart
prior to bolting. The stems of these flowering shoots are very sweet.
The leaves are great for salads.
Celtuce/Stem Lettuce - Much like a lettuce-celery
cross. Young leaves are great for salad and center stem may be used
like celery.
Komatsuna organic seed
- Also known as Tendergreen, this mild and tender mustard green
with lettuce sized leaves is a typical Japanese vegetable. Young
leaves, stalks and flower shoots are used extensively in stir-frys
and salads. It is also popular as a pickled green in Japan.
Serifon Chinese Mustard - a hardy mustard with serrated
edges and a mild mustard flavor. The mustard flavor intensifies
with age. Also known as "Green in the Snow."
Shungiku

CELERY Chinese celery is smaller and
more delicate than the common American celery. It has a more intense
aromatic flavor and is resistant to cold. Its stems are thin, hollow
and crispy.

Tsai Chinese Celery (OP?) - Yellow green stems and leaves are
tender and crispy. They are excellent in stir-fry and soup.
Mitsuba - Japanese fresh or cooking green, much like parsley,
but with a unique flavor and 3 ft tall. Can be blanched to grow
tender white celery-like stems.
