BUNCHING ONIONS/SCALLIONS
Fresh green onions that never form
a large bulb. Grow these in bunches and harvest as needed. (growing
tips)
Deep Purple Bunching - Very hardy scallion is very pretty
with a deep purple hue near the base. Harvest 10-12 inch stalks
throughout the summer and fall. Add compost to grow them quickly
or just drop them in the ground and let them mature slowly.
Ishikura Bunching Onion - Very long stalked scallion. Matures
quickly and doesn't bulb.
Pacific Pearl Onion - Grow cute little clumps of
pearl onions. Can be used early as scallions or later for pickling,
salad or garnish.
White Lisbon Bunching Onion - Quick growing salad onions, slender
tender stalks don't bulb.
Winter White Bunching - Ready to harvest from early winter through
mid spring. The plants from very small, delicate white bulbs. Plant
in clumps.
LEEKS The
most flavorful member of the onion family, leeks add a wonderful
flavor to many stews and can be substituted for onions in many cooked

Cipollini Onion - Mini flat onion popular in Italy, particularly
for grilling and pickling. This 2 inch wide, 1 inch tall onion is
firm and fine-grained with a mellow spicy flavor. Beautiful yellow
onion, excellent for braids.
Southport White Globe Onion organic
seed - White skin, white interior, round sweet onion.
Excelllent fresh onion, also works well as a bunching onion. Needs
long summer days to mature.
