HOT PEPPERS
-Aci Sivri Chilé organic
seed - Old Turkish heirloom variety of cayenne pepper
generally mild but can be very hot. Beautiful long curly pepper.
Up to fifty 5-9 chiles per plant. These peppers are red when
ripe.
-Anaheim College Pepper - Mild to medium heat, these
are the dark green narrow New Mexican chiles found in the supermarket.
Often used for roasted peppers or stuffed for chiles rellenos.
-Black Hungarian Pepper organic
seed - Beautiful ornamental plant and maildly hot jalapeno-type
pepper. This gorgeous plant has green leaves with purple veins and
flowers. The fruit is shiny black, maturing to bright red.
-Calabrese Peperoncino -
-Cayenne Pepper
organic seed - Very traditional
spicy chile of 4-5 inches long. Fruit ripens to bright red on a
2 1/2 ft tall plant.
-Cayenne Long Slim Pepper organic
seed - Very hot and colorful long thin red peppers grow
on 2 ft tall bushy plants. Most commonly dried or pickled.
-Early Jalapeño Pepper - Deep green, thick walled, medium
hot, 3-4 fruits turn red at maturity. Typically eaten in the
green stage in Mexican & SW dishes. The red fruit when smoked
is called chipotle.
-Fish Pepper organic seed
- This is a beautiful ornamental hot pepper. Peppers similar
in size and shape to jalapeños are streaked with white while
they mature from green to deep red. Medium to very hot.
-McMahon's Texas Bird Pepper - Pretty little dwarf pepper that
bears tiny (1/2") orange-red peppers in early fall. Popular
heirloom ornamental edible.
-Mulato Isleno Chilé - One of our all-time favorites,
these dark green Poblano style peppers mature to a rich chocolate
color and have an extraordinary sweetness. The large tapered fruit
are mildly spicy and perfect for chiles rellenos.
Riot Hot Pepper - Great ornamental edible. Small 12"
plant bears loads of yellow and red spikes of hot chilé peppers.
-Robustini Pepper - This is the pepper used for Greek Pepperoncini.
Each plant yields 8-10 yellow green, thin walled, slightly pungent
fruits. Robustini matures early, so is a good choice for the PNW.
Heirloom.
-Serrano Pepper - This hot chile is a good standard for
the kitchen. Each plant produces an abundance of medium-walled 2
inch fruits that may be used green or red. Pick before frost to
ripen and dry in a house.
Thai Dragon - Small and quite hot,
these chiles are a great addition to any dish that needs a little
kick. Each plant is vigorous and bears an abundance of 3 inch narrow
pointed fruit. Use them green or red, or string and dry them.
SWEET PEPPERS
-Gourmet Bell Pepper - A delicious light green bell pepper
which will enventually turn orange. A great variety to add to a
pepper mix.
-Healthy Sweet Pepper organic
seed - Produces 6-10 oblong peppers, 4 inches long, 2
inches at the shoulder. 30 tall plant needs staking. Developed
in Russia, it is an excellent PNW grower.
-Italian Sweet

-Nardello Sweet Pepper organic
seed - Italian heirloom pepper with almost candy-like
sweetness. 8-10 fruits with long tapered shape are borne on
a 2-3 ft plant. Heirloom.
-Paprika Alma organic seed
-Purple Beauty - An unusual variety, these peppers start out
purple and turn red in maturity. So use them at any stage for a
colorful addition to your salad or stir fry. Compact plants bear
meaty, thick-fleshed, sweet fruit.
-Quadrato d'Asti Giallo Pepper - Large thick sweet
yellow pepper from Italy. Three or four lobed blocky fruit is intensely
yellow when ripe.
-Tennessee Cheese - Thick walled plum-sized lumpy fruit,
slightly flattened so it looks abit like a cheesewheel. Excellent
flavor and texture.
