PUMPKINS These varieties
are all great for carving or for eating! (growing
tips)
Baby Boo Pumpkin - Miniature pumpkin like Jack Be Little
but with white skin and orange flesh. Still a great little cooking
pumpkin, too.
Cinderella Pumpkin - French heirloom variety also known as Rouge
Vif d'Etampes. Deep red-orange skin, heavy lobes and flattened shape
make this pumpkin appear just like illustrations of Cinderella's
carriage. The French enjoy the thick smooth flesh in a savory pie.
Fairytale Pumpkin open pollinated
seed - One of the most handsome pumpkins matures to a
deep mahogany orange with heavy thick lobes. The flesh is a smooth
deep orange suitable for pies and other squash dishes. Multiple
12-18 inch flattened fruit on 10 ft vines.
Jack Be Little - Charming little orange 3-inch pumpkins
on short 5-ft vines. Great for decoration, but these tasty little
guys are also used in gourmet recipes.
Lumina - Grow 4 -6 white pumpkins on 10 ft vines. Bright
orange flesh makes beautiful contrast for carved pumpkins. Also
excellent for pumpkin soup.
Orange Smoothie Pumpkin - Perfect smooth round pumpkin
with bright orange skin. Great size for kids, just 5 to 8 lbs. Good
for carving but also a fine flavored pie pumpkin.
Small Sugar Pumpkin open pollinated
