SUMMER SQUASH With delicate thin skins and wonderful moist flesh, summer squash have found their way into all kinds of dishes. They may be baked, steamed, sauted or even served fresh! (growing tips)

Bennings Green Tint Patty Pan - Vigorous 3-4 ft bush produces up to 15 lovely pale green scalloped squash. Harvest when small for tender texture and delicate flavor.
Cocozelle Heirloom Zucchini organic seed - Small heirloom zucchini with light green and yellow stripes and a slightly nutty flavor. 3 ft bush.
Costata Romanesque Zucchini - Everyone is raving about the gourmet qualties of this one! Best flavor and texture even when grown to enormous size. Also, plenty of large, male blossoms.
Custard White Patty Pan
- Very light yellow to white scalloped squash with delicate flesh and flavor when harvested young.

Peter Pan Patty Pan - Pretty apple-green scalloped squash are creamy and sweet fleshed - a treat to saute or slice and grill.

Sunburst Patty Pan - Vivid gold scalloped squash with buttery mild tender flesh, slightly nutty flavor. Delicious simply steamed or poached in broth.
Sungreen Zucchini - Standard, dark green, shiny, straight zucchini on a bush type plant with disease resistance.
Tromboncino Zucchetta open pollinated seed - Ornamental climbing squash produces long trumpet-shaped pale green zucchini. Pick when about the size of an English cucumber. Produces many male flowers good for frying.

Autumn Cup Buttercup Squash - Buttercup/Kabocha squash has dark green skin and orange flesh. Sweet, thick meat bakes with outstanding flavor. Each vine bears 3-6 squash. Stores well.
Bush Delicata - More squash in a smaller space. Tidy bush spreads only 4-6 ft. 2 lb fruit are creamy white with green stripes. The flesh is yellow orange - smooth, buttery and nutty. Mildew resistant.
Butternut Squash (Waltham)

GOURDS Fabulous ornamentals for your fall centerpiece. Can also be carved into bowls, vases, birdhouses, rattles. Grow as for squash, but find the absolute hottest spot in your garden - against a south wall is best. (growing tips)

Large Bottle Birdhouse Gourd - This large gourd has up to a 10 inch base and long narrow neck. Grows best when trellised against a south-facing wall. Harvest when skin turns buff or brown, and let dry.
