TOMATILLOS This relative
of the tomato makes a fruit that looks like a green tomato and tastes
like a citrusy green tomato. The fruit is protected from rain and
rot by a papery husk. This is a beautiful ornamental plant with
yellow flowers that soon become little light green lanterns (like
a chinese lantern) and finally develop fruit within that lantern.
