RED TOMATOES Every red tomato seen here has been shown to thrive in the Pacific Northwest, and many have been developed specifically for that purpose. All are delicious.

Brandywine Tomato (Main Season) organic seed - Amish heirloom tomato with dark reddish pink flesh and large fruit. Famous, distinct flavor. The plant is not a heavy producer, but very early and fruit are 7 inches large. Indeterminate. Heirloom.
Costoluto Genovese Tomato (Early)
organic seed - Large Italian heirloom with dark red skin and deep folds. May be the best tasting tomato ever. Sweet and very juicy. Especially recommended for juice. Indeterminate. Heirloom.
Gill's All-Purpose Tomato (Early) organic seed - This tomato was developed in the Northwest and, as its name suggests, is great for cooking, canning, juicing and fresh eating. Determinate and disease-resistant.
Kootenai Tomato (Ultra-Early) - A fantastic, flavorful, thin skinned, 2-3 inch slicer. A consistant performer in Pacific NW gardens. Well-behaved determinate plant.
Oregon Spring Bush Tomato (Extra-early) organic seed - Premier early season red variety for areas with cool summer nights. A great producer in the PNW. Sweet, juicy 4 inch fruits . Can go in the ground as early as mid April. Indeterminate.
Oregon Star Tomato (Main Season) - One of the earliest large fruit tomatoes in the PNW. This 1-2 pound fruit is great fresh or for sauce. Determinate.
Palestinian Tomato (Main Season)
organic seed - Large, delicious red tomato discovered in East Palestine, Ohio. Has few seeds, and soft sweet flesh. Maybe heirloom.
Santiam Tomato (Extra-early) organic seed - Extra early variety sets and produces fruit very well in cooler climates. Disease resistant, red fruit produced on 30 inch vine. Determinate.
Siletz Tomato (Extra-early) - Large red slicing tomato. Reliable mid-size performer. Determinate.
Willamette Tomato (Early) -
A local favorite. Great big flavor in medium-sized fruit. Disease resistant. Determinate.

PASTE/SAUCE TOMATOES Paste tomatoes are selected because of their low water content, which saves time and energy when making sauce. Most are also delicious eaten fresh.

Amish Paste Tomato (Main Season) organic seed - This large, meaty sauce tomato comes from the Pennsylvania Amish. Great balanced flavor that is good fresh or cooked. Heirloom.
Beaverlodge Plum Tomato (Ultra-early)
organic seed - Extremely early, very productive, compact and spreading plant is great for a in the garden or in a container. Great flavor. Determinate.
Principe Borghese Tomato (Main Season) - The Italian tomato most often used to make sun-dried tomatoes. Small, sweet and fleshy. Because of its lower water content, these tomatoes store pretty well even without drying. Determinate.
Roma Tomato (Main Season) organic seed - The gold standard of paste and sauce tomatoes. Rich, succulent and savory large red plum fruit with few seeds. Compact, determinate, disease-resistant. Heirloom.

Striped Roman Tomato (Main Season) organic seed - A unique red roma tomato streaked with yellow. Thick, meaty and very flavorful.

UNIQUE COLOR TOMATOES Less acidic than red tomatoes, yellow tomatoes allow you to savor all the sweetness that one expects from a "fruit." Black and purple varieties tend to have complex flavors similar to a good wine. Green varieties tend to have a lovely fruity scent and flavor. Ananas Noire Tomato (Main Season)
